Intro: about me

I prefer Free and Open Source software. I’ve run Linux since the last millennium, but have no particular distro loyalties; suitability to the current task rules. In my world, Internet servers usually run OpenBSD, Intranet servers use some flavor of Linux, and I hope to eventually add an OSX workstation to the mix as well.

Intro: about this blog

This is more an experiment than a blog. ‘Tech and/or thoughtful’ will almost always be the focus of what I post here, especially if it involves some flavor of Unix. Beyond that, this is a grab bag.

Because I have limited time to maintain a weblog and zero tolerance for drama or spam, this blog will be content-intensive and as comment-minimal as I can make it. Hope you find some of these links and posts useful.
